Altus Traducciones since 2022 has been providing Colombian businesses, Government Departments and organistations online teaching courses for the various languages listed above.
Generally, in Colombia the level of English spoken is generally not good. However, our clients are National and International corporations/institutions who regularly need to communicate with their international clients and partners in various languages. This may be in writing or by verbal communication. The majority of communication is usually in English but there is growing demand for German, French, Italian & Portuguese.
Altus Traducciones provides clients with a simple solution to learn basic business English to assist individuals write emails, short letters and make telephone communication or communicate in online meetings via platforms, for example zoom.
Applicants should be innovative and be able to create their own training material. Most pupils will have limited abilities in other languages. Note: You need not speak Spanish. We find that immersing students into a new language is best done without reverting to their native language.
Most online teaching will be done on a one-to-one basis, or possibly to two or three employees.
Hours of Tuition can vary. Sometimes a course may be intensive for 30-60 hours for the duration of one month, other times it may be for 1-2 hours per day every day at times to be agreed. There needs to be flexibility.

Regularly in Colombia, clients may ask for a certified translation of your documents to Spanish. This is performed by an official translator in Colombia and of course, you are free to select whoever you wish to make these translations. Altus Traducciones can provide this service for a reasonable fee but there is no obligation to use our service.
